Lawyer with over 20 years of experience assisting foreign companies to establish and do business in Brazil, with emphasis on the oil and gas sector. Extensive experience in negotiation and business law in general: corporate, contracts, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder agreements, bids, international trade, technology transfer, labor and tax. Intensely active in the oil and gas industry in the development of projects throughout the industry chain - upstream, midstream and downstream, for E&P operators and suppliers of equipment and services, and also regulatory issues in general, including local content.
• Served as Trade Commissioner / Oil & Gas at the Canadian Consulate General in Rio de Janeiro for 6 years.
• Certified Mediator by CBMA - Brazilian Center for Mediation and Arbitration and in certification by ICML - Institute for Certification of Lusophone Mediators.
